Pittsburgh Public Schools (PPS) is in the midst of a planning process that is challenging us to think differently about how education is delivered and student achievement levels accelerate for all students. The district wants a school system that provides a high quality learning experience for all students and positive teaching environment for all educators. They need your ideas and input to get it right.
Tell us what you think the district should do to ensure high quality schools that prepare ALL students -- both academically and non-academically – to succeed in all aspects of life.
To hear your ideas, PPS is partnering with New Voice Strategies on a VIVA (Voices Ideas Vision Action) Idea Exchange™. PPS believes it is equally important to hear from educators, parents and guardians, and the broader Pittsburgh community it serves. Because parents and community members share teachers’ deep commitment to the success of Pittsburgh Public Schools, but have distinct perspectives on solutions, there are separate Idea Exchange websites where you can engage securely and directly with your peers.
At the end of this collaboration, a small group of you from each website will be invited to present your ideas to PPS leadership.
